Blueberry Delight

Rawoctober is running in full force and I hope your fasting goals are being met! As I continue my journey towards a healthier lifestyle I am also constantly reminded of how expensive eating healthy is! OMG at my grocery bill for fresh produce versus grabbing a burger of the .99 cent menu. This country is backwards when it comes to the cost of things but that’s a blog post for another day. Anyhoo, I refuse to visit the grocery store until my frig is empty. With that being said I went for a 4 mile run today and came back HUNGRY! The frig consists of a black of black grapes, some blueberries, 3 kiwis, carrots, 2 apples,  2 oranges, and 1/2 bag of spinach. I should be good for 2-3 more days! 🙂 With that being said, I grabbed the container of blueberries, some grapes, and some carrots. OMG DELICIOUS! The blueberries and grapes overpower the juice making it incredible. I wish I had juiced grapes before! The carrots are there to keep my eyes sharp. 😉

3/4 cup blueberries
1 cup black grapes
1 cup carrots

Rawoctober is here!

Hey everyone!

Are you ready to detox? Are you ready to get rid of excess weight and bloating? What about clearer skin? I know I am and I’m excited because its time for a month of detoxing.! I hope you stocked up on fruits and veggies for the week. 🙂

As I type this I’m sitting in the airport preparing to be whisked away to the Caribbean. It’s my reward for passing the bar exam! That’s right, I’m LICENSED!!! To top it off I have officially one month until I begin work and I need to be on top of my game so rawoctober is perfect for me. That’s right, I’m eating raw on vacation. If I can do it there, you can do it here.

Hey Everyone!

Only five days until Rawoctober! Are you ready???!!!! To get ready I’m detoxing this week and my body is already thanking me. I must admit…once I went on vacation the first week in September, my bad eating habits have continued and I feel lazy, weighed down, and bloated. I HATE feeling like this. Rawoctober will be good for me and it will be good for you too!

For those that have never adapted a raw lifestyle…or even a vegan lifestyle, PLEASE start working towards that this week. If not, you’ll go crazy and the only thing you’ll think about is what you’re missing.

This week: all water unless I pull out my juicer or blender. All fruits and veggies all day with the exception of one meal.

See, that’s not that bad and you can do it too!
